FAQ

1) Will the software run on any OS other than Windows XP? No, the WhizKidz software will not run on any other operating system. Other than Windows 2000, ME, or XP. 2) Can I run the software without the CD-Rom in my drive? No, you cannot run the software without the CD-Rom inside the drive. 3) I cannot make a backup of the software. It is protected so that it cannot be physically copied. You cannot make a copy of the software. 4) What specifications will I need to run the software? It is recommended that you have Windows XP in any configuration. 5) There are white edges outside the screen. You may have set the screen to something other than 600X800 or 1024X768. Go into display settings and change the settings to one of the above settings to correct this problem. note: The software will run properly even if you do not set the screen to view it properly. 6) The software does not run properly. If you can install the software but it does not run properly, please send an email detailing your problem at support@prodigycreator.com and we will reply to you within 48 hours. 7) How do I uninstall the software? Go to the “start” button on the bottom left corner of your computer and click once. Move the mouse to “Programs” Find the “WhizKidz CDX” menu item and click once. There will be an uninstall icon on the menu. Select it and you can uninstall the WhizKidz program. 8) I cannot install the software. Although rare, the disk may have been damaged during shipment. If this is the case, you can send it back to us and we will send you a new copy. 9) I cannot hear anything when I run the software. You may not have turned on your speakers or sound card. Turn them on. If this does not correct the problem close down the application and restart it again. The sound may not have initialized on your computer. If this does not correct the problem, please send an email detailing your problem at support@prodigycreator.com and we will reply to you within 48 hours. 10) I cannot exit from the program. Although rare, you may have clicked a combination of buttons that leaves you stuck. If this is the case, press CTRL+ALT+DEL. The task manger will appear. Find the process "mm1" or "mm2" or "mm3" and end this process. Restart the application again. 11) I can hear the CD spinning inside my CD-Rom drive. This is normal. The software needs to check your CD-Rom drive to see if the CD is present in order to run. 12) I get an error message saying “Will not run without original CD-Rom in drive” when I try to run the software. You must have the original WhizKidz CD-Rom inside the CD-Rom drive to run the software.
